Black womxn’s bodies throughout history have been for the pleasure of others. We have always been told what our sexy is supposed to be. We have been shamed for the shape of our bodies and how we choose to express ourselves. The #iempowerblackwomxn movement is how we start to take control of the narrative of what our version of sexy is. This movement is also for Black womxn to love every part of their body as it is now. Loving yourself fully as you are is a radical statement to make to the world. Are you ready to love yourself radically?
